Kembla Heights Bowling and Recreation Club is one of the main attractions. Fo Guang Shan Nan Tien Temple is situated at Berkeley NSW. It is one of the largest Buddhist temple in Australia. Unanderra’s NSW park is a nice place to spend time with friends and family. Wollongong Botanic Garden is a lovely place to have some relax time. The garden is kept very well. Rhododendron Park is a beautiful park. It is 10-15 minutes to the north west of Wollongong. It is a great place for family and spending time on a Saturday morning. A great place for photography especially in Spring. Other attractions near the suburb include Wollongong Motorcycle Club, Future world Eco-Technology Centre, Illawarra Performing Arts Centre and many more.

Ruby’s Mount Kembla Restaurant is at Harry Graham Drive. The food is reviewed to be truly magnificent, with the flavours and presentation being amazing. Fernandos Pizza is a lovely, friendly and little family restaurant offers quality Italian gourmet pizzas and dishes. Claire’s Cafe & Bakery is one of the popular cafe around the vicinity. D’amato’s Family Restaurant offers classic pizzas and pastas.

J&K Supermarket is at Derribong Drive. Woolworths Unanderra and FoodWorks Unanderra are also popular near the suburb.
